Note: Physical and Health Education Unit to start on June 5.
We started the day listening to a CBC radio episode from The Current with Anna Maria Tremonti on “What Does Canada 150 Mean for Indigenous Communties?” Students then completed a three things you learned, two you found interesting and one question you still have. They then had time to work on their paragraphs or independent novel studies. Read aloud was before recess. After recess, students were asked to evaluate their term three goals before we headed out for PE. In PE, half the class tried playing a game of ultimate and the other half practiced their throwing and catching. Next week we will reverse the groups. After lunch, students had time to work on their passion projects. We ended the class with a Math4today test (last one) and time to work on Albanesi cards. (Only two more days!)
