Monday, November 16

Our class meeting started our day today. We then read an article about the support for the people of Paris.  See link below. Students then had time to start their own drafts for their Secret Knowledge of Grown-ups page. They will continue to work on this tomorrow. Read along was before recess. After recess, we finished our paragraphs on why the leatherback turtles are endangered and what is being done to protect them. We then started to go over the outline for endangered species topic. We will discuss the due date tomorrow. Look for the outline on a separate post. After lunch, we walked to Berkshire Park to attend a fine arts presentation. “The Story Theatre Company and the Royal BC Museum teamed up to present music, songs, and poetry of the First World War mixed with letters from young men who traveled over to the trenches to create “The Call Went Out.””
