We started the day with the circle of power and respect (CPR). We then looked at some characteristics that make up a good student. Read aloud was before recess. After recess, in PE, we did the scooter ships activity. Before lunch, we watched the TED talk on listening.http://www.ted.com/talks/julian_treasure_5_ways_to_listen_better#t-38319. We then had a discussion about whether listening should be taught at schools. (Receive, Appreciate, Summarize, Ask RASA) After lunch, we read the story Blockhead the life of Fibonacci. We then looked briefly at the Fibonacci sequence and created some spirals using the golden ratio.
