A case of red herrings started our day today. Then we were off to the library for book exchange and then returned to class for silent reading. In Language Arts, we went over the format for a Cinquain. The fours are to write one, the fives two and the sixes three for Monday. We also went over the outline for the poetry reading assignment. It will be due on May 1st. The students are to read a variety of poems and answer a set of four questions about the poem. While the students were reading or writing we starting due read throughs of the plays. Read aloud was before recess. After recess, in cultural studies, the students were able to do more research for their science project while we did more read throughs. After lunch, we had our appreciation circle and then the students could work toward learning their lines ahead of the Monday deadline.
