A Case of Red Herrings started the day. We actually went through two very quickly and then the third we will continue with next week. We then were off to the library for book exchange. When we got back it was silent reading before we switched to Language Arts where the students worked on their idiom booklets. Read aloud was before recess. After recess, we started reading the story One Well. The students then felt what it would be like to carry 5 or 10 litres of water. The students then had to come up with a list of things they could do to conserve water. After lunch, we had our appreciation circle. We then went through a Sparkles the Elf run through. We ended the day doing a song practice.
