A Case of Red Herrings started the day. The students were then off to the library for book exchange and returned for silent reading. We then did our appreciation circle and then students have time to work on their weekly reflections and some students started on their final drafts for the Secret Knowledge of Grown-ups. After recess, we continued our work on notetaking and then we looked at the pickerel problem. After lunch, we had a very art filled afternoon. In fact, some still need more time to finish them on Monday morning. We started off exploring watercolours and then students had to create a watercolour monster in keeping with the season.
